Crow’s Nest is a little piece of heaven on the South Coast. Situated close to the seaside in Umkomaas, with a 180 degree view of the ocean, where you get a bird’s eye view of whales and dolphins going by. Umkomaas is no1 dive destination in Kwazulu Natal where Aliwal Shoal, rated as one of the top 10 dive destinations in the world, is located. You will feel like you are transported to another world with excellent food, refreshing drinks and a superb atmosphere. This little restaurant is like a breath of fresh air to those that appreciate something special. Everything on the menu is made with the best and freshest ingredients. Great vegetarian options and try the delicious wood fired pizzas.
The staff are welcoming and friendly. Run by the owners, Stuart and Lisa Crowhurst, which adds that personal touch. The atmosphere is truly superb with funky chilled out music in the background and fairy lights add to the ambiance. Open from Tues – Sun, 10am till 10pm, and breakfast from 10am on the weekends.
