About Backsberg Estate
Backsberg Estate is a lovely estate that holds a reputation for making a selection of fine wines.
The estate is located in between Paarl and Stellenbosch, about 40 minutes away from Cape Town. Perched on the slopes of the Simonsberg Mountain, the vineyards experience the perfect climate to make good grapes for wine making. Visitors are welcome to meander through the garden and try out a tasting of the wine selection. The Backsberg Restaurant is also open all week if you're keen for a bite to eat.
Tastings are open all week. A small fee will be charged for tasting. Formal tastings are by appointment only.
